Job summary

Stantec is recruiting a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Water & Renewable Energy team in Newcastle, part of the 2027 Graduate Programme. You will contribute to dam safety work, hydropower projects and pumped storage schemes, gaining exposure to national and international demands for water and energy solutions.

You’ll learn from experienced professionals, develop technical report writing skills, and work with tools like Word and Excel, while advancing toward ICE progression and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dam safety assessments, monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute to rehabilitation design of existing dams and design of new water and hydropower dams, including pumped storage schemes.
• Support projects across the UK for dams, reservoirs and hydropower, including inspections and remediation.
