Job summary

Kier Group is recruiting Graduates for Civil Engineering roles across Oxford, Chipping Warden and Aylesbury as part of a permanent, 2-year programme. You'll split time between on-site actions and design work, creating a broad foundations in transportation engineering.

The scheme starts at £31,000 annually with a potential car allowance (£4,750) depending on eligibility and project, and offers a pathway to an assistant-level role with salary potential around £38k after completion.

Qualifications

• Graduating in 2027 or recently with an ICE-accredited Civil Engineering degree (or working towards).
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.
• Clear motivation to learn and develop professionally in the civil/ construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of project designs, plans and specifications.
• Support development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and provide project updates.
