Job summary

Kier Group in Worksop is offering a Graduate Civil Engineer role within our Infrastructure team, supporting on the Severn Trent project. This permanent, full-time 2-year programme leads to an assistant level role; starting September 2027 with a salary of £31,000 and a potential car allowance of £4,750, subject to eligibility.

You'll gain hands-on experience across design, site work, and project coordination, with opportunities to work on-site or in design roles.

Qualifications

• Must have an ICE-accredited Civil Engineering (or Structural Engineering) degree.
• Graduate in 2027 or within the last 3 years with relevant accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications.
• Support development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specs, safety standards and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and support project success.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and provide project updates.
