Job summary

Stantec in Ashford is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer for our Autumn 2027 intake. You’ll join a collaborative Civil Engineering team delivering highway and infrastructure schemes across the UK.

From feasibility to construction, you’ll gain exposure to all project stages, use AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and contribute to designs, calculations and reports.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, with support to achieve professional accreditation (IEng or CEng) with ICE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Willingness to learn and grow within infrastructure engineering.
• Strong collaborative skills and desire to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop sustainable infrastructure designs for highways and drainage.
• Undertake design work using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other industry-standard software.
• Support projects through all stages from feasibility to construction.
• Produce engineering calculations, technical analyses, drawings and inspection reports.
• Attend client meetings, workshops and design coordination sessions.
