Job summary

Stantec in London invites applications for our 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme as a Graduate Civil Engineer. Based in our London office, you will work with a Civil Engineering team delivering major highway and infrastructure schemes across the UK, gaining exposure through feasibility to construction and collaborating with experienced engineers.

You will develop skills in highway alignment, drainage design and project delivery, pursue ICE accreditation, and contribute to sustainable, resilient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in the Infrastructure sector.
• Demonstrates adaptability and calm under change.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop sustainable highways and drainage designs.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other industry-standard software for design work.
• Support delivery across feasibility to construction stages.
• Produce calculations, drawings and inspection reports.
• Attend client meetings and design coordination sessions.
• Assist with risk assessments and risk management.
