Energy Jobline CVL in Manningtree, Essex, is seeking a Business Development Engineer. You will maintain existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities and support development of pultruded profile products.

The role suits someone with a composites engineering or chemistry background, who can communicate technical specifications to customers and work with production and finance teams. Office-based, permanent, with a salary of £30,000–£40,000.

Overtime travel may be required.

Formación

• Background in composites engineering or chemistry preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical information to customers.
• Experience in customer relationship management or technical sales is beneficial.
• Commercial awareness with pricing and costing capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; liaise with customers and internal departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Valid driving licence and passport; ability to travel overseas when required.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical examination.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with the finance team to maintain pricing for stock profiles and calculate project costs.
• Support marketing activities and represent the business at exhibitions.
• Prepare written and verbal reports for customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Report to the Managing Director and contribute to the continued development of the profiles business.

The Business Development Engineer position is available in Manningtree, Essex, for our client, a specialist manufacturer of composite machinery and pultruded profiles. With over 50 years of manufacturing experience and an international customer base, the company is looking for a technically minded individual to maintain existing customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and support the ongoing development of its pultruded profile products.

This role would suit someone with a background in composites engineering or chemistry who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer engagement and business development.

Business Development Engineer Job Overview
