Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor in the SW London/Teddington area. The role supports Senior Surveyors and delivers a full suite of building surveying duties within a RICS APC structured training programme.

You will work on contract administration, maintenance surveys, pre-acquisition surveys and project management across diverse sectors, with opportunities for professional progression toward MRICS qualification.

Qualifications

• MRICS or nearing qualification required for progression.
• Experience with contract administration and project coordination desirable.
• Strong knowledge of building surveying methods and professional services.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Senior Building Surveyors in the day-to-day running of the business.
• Contract administration duties; smaller projects and assistance on major projects.
• Planned maintenance surveys.
• Design and specification of maintenance works.
• Condition surveys.
• Defect investigation and diagnosis.
• Licence for Alterations.
• Party Wall matters.
• Pre-Acquisition Surveys.
• Project Management.
• Employer's Agent roles.
• Reinstatement Cost Assessments (for Insurance Purposes). For a full Graduate Training Programme, APC ready within 24 months.

RICS APC Structured Training Programme (90% APC pass rate).

Our client, a RICS regulated Chartered Surveying practice based in with offices natiowide.

Undertaking instructions relating to all aspects of Building Surveying and Design services with particular specialist knowledge in a variety of sectors.

With a wealth of experience spanning a range of disciplines, including major works project management, party wall and neighbourly matters, Licence for Alterations, Contract Admin, Design and Spec, Dilapidations and Technical Due Diligence, we act as a trusted advisor to both individuals and corporate entities.

Due to continued growth of the company, they have a vacancy in the Teddington office for an expeienced Graduate Building Surveyor (close to qualifying) or a Newly Qualifed MRICS Building Surveyorto work in a fun, but hardworking environment, to deliver a full suite of building surveying duties to our range of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Senior Building Surveyors in the day-to-day running of the business, the role will include assisting with project commissions including:


• Contract administration duties; Responsibility, under minimum supervision, for smaller projects and assistance on major projects with defined levels of responsibility.
