Job summary

Build Recruitment in SW London is seeking an Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor or Newly Qualified MRICS to join our busy team in Teddington. You will support senior surveyors across a wide range of duties and contribute to the delivery of surveys, contract administration and project work.

The role offers a 24-month structured APC training programme and exposure to party wall, dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, asset condition assessments and design support.

RICS APC Structured Training Programme (90% APC pass rate)

Our client, a RICS regulated Chartered Surveying practice based in with offices natiowide. Undertaking instructions relating to all aspects of Building Surveying and Design services with particular specialist knowledge in a variety of sectors.

With a wealth of experience spanning a range of disciplines, including major works project management, party wall and neighbourly matters, Licence for Alterations, Contract Admin, Design and Spec, Dilapidations and Technical Due Diligence, we act as a trusted advisor to both individuals and corporate entities.

Due to continued growth of the company, they have a vacancy in the Teddington office for an expeienced Graduate Building Surveyor (close to qualifying) or a Newly Qualifed MRICS Building Surveyor to work in a fun, but hardworking environment, to deliver a full suite of building surveying duties to our range of clients.

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Senior Building Surveyors in the day-to-day running of the business, the role will include assisting with project commissions including:

• Contract administration duties; Responsibility, under minimum supervision, for smaller projects and assistance on major projects with defined levels of responsibility.
• Planned maintenance surveys
• Design and specification of maintenance works
• Condition surveys
• Defect investigation and diagnosis
• Licence for Alterations
• Party Wall matters
• Pre-Acquisition Surveys
