Job summary

Workman LLP is offering multiple Graduate Pathways in Building Surveying, designed to support APC completion and Chartered status. The programme combines hands-on inspections, contract administration, and project management with formal learning, under the guidance of experienced surveyors.

Hybrid working and structured career development are included. Entry routes include RICS-accredited and non-RICS degrees, plus a 5-year apprenticeship path.

Qualifications

• RICS-accredited degree required for graduate pathway options.
• Non-RICS degree pathway available with 2:2 classification.
• Apprentice pathway available with 96 UCAS tariff points or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking building inspections and property surveys.
• Preparing schedules of condition, dilapidations, and defect reports.
• Assisting with contract administration and project management duties.
• Supporting refurbishment, repair, and maintenance projects.
• Preparing specifications, reports, and technical advice for clients.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations and health and safety legislation.
• Assisting with planned maintenance strategies and asset improvement programmes.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
