Job summary

Workman LLP invites graduates to join its Building Consultancy team in a hybrid work pattern. You will gain hands-on experience across commercial properties, build client exposure, and develop professional relationships while working with building surveyors and other service lines.

The programme includes external industry events, IOSH, and structured support toward APC and professional qualifications. Multiple pathways are available: Graduate Pathways, Non-RICS Degree, and Apprentice Pathway.

Qualifications

• RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree with a minimum 2:2 classification (or equivalent).
• Non-cognate, non-RICS accredited degree with a minimum 2:2 classification.
• 96 UCAS tariff points (or equivalent) and GCSE 4/C or above in English and Mathematics, or an Advanced Apprenticeship plus GCSEs.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking building inspections and surveys.
• Preparing schedules of condition and defect reports.
• Assisting with contract administration and project management duties.
• Supporting refurbishment, repair and maintenance projects.
• Preparing specifications, reports, and technical advice for clients.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations and health and safety.
