Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, London & South East team, is seeking a Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor to deliver a wide range of Building Surveying services to diverse clients including public and private sectors. You will operate in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment with structured APC progression and access to digital tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or equivalent required.
• Actively working towards MRICS or equivalent membership.

Responsibilities

• Working across multiple projects providing a range of building surveying duties.
• Undertaking condition surveys, measured surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence; stay updated with industry developments.
• Preparing professional reports, schedules of work, specifications and technical drawings.
• Assisting with Project Management and Contract Administration across sectors.
• Supporting pre- and post-contract activities under JCT and NEC contracts.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects suited to your experience.
• Supporting refurbishment, maintenance and small-to-medium capital projects delivery.
• Contributing to sustainability and building safety assessments including CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality service, with guidance from seniors.
