Job summary

Amey is offering a Graduate Building Services Engineer role within its Consulting Buildings and Property team. You’ll develop practical skills from day one, work on condition surveys, feasibility studies and design calculations, and rotate across accounts to gain broad experience across UK projects.

Based in flexible hybrid settings, you’ll design HVAC, lighting, power and water systems using Revit or AutoCAD, carry out energy modelling, site visits, and collaborate with architects and engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in building services, mechanical or electrical engineering at 2:1 or above
• Full UK driving licence
• Software familiarity - CAD/BIM: Revit, IES, TAS, AutoCAD
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills
• Demonstrates continuous professional development and supplier knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist with condition surveys, feasibility studies, design and calculations
• Site support and using design software
• Produce technically sound engineering solutions meeting standards and client requirements
• Collaborate with architects, clients and engineers to integrate services into designs
• Support low-carbon solutions and energy efficiency
• Prepare reports, project specifications and costs
