COWI in London is inviting a Graduate Engineer (Bridge & Structures) for Summer Intake 2027. You will work on prestigious UK bridge projects with senior engineers guiding your path toward Chartership, in a hybrid office/home setup.

We expect a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a genuine interest in Chartered status, and some practical experience. The role covers design through site reviews with a tailored development plan.

Competenze

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline — either completed or due to be awarded this summer.

Mansioni

• Producing structural designs, assessments and evaluations for bridge projects from concept to detailed design.
• Preparing structural calculations, technical reports and specifications in line with codes and standards.
• Reviewing and checking calculations and drawings produced by other engineers.
• Interpreting site data and survey results, conducting structural analysis and creating calculation methods.
• Planning and prioritising workload with support from the project manager and tracking progress against budget and programme.
• Overseeing responsibilities with self-checks to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Attending site visits to bridges and structures and representing the team in client meetings and design reviews.
