Job summary

Interpath, an international advisory business, is seeking a Graduate Associate to join the Belfast practice. You will work on restructuring and advisory engagements, including formal insolvency case work, with exposure to other service lines within the business.

You will be supported by a highly experienced team and have opportunities to develop an internal and external network, participate in business development, and advance your career as you grow with the firm.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a 2.1 University degree is required.
• During the Graduate Associate contract you will complete the Chartered Accountants Ireland Accounting Qualification.
• Interpath considers academic results alongside written, technical and cultural fit.
• Applications close on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in delivering restructuring and advisory projects.
• Draft reports for presentation to management and stakeholders.
• Prepare marketing material and due diligence packs for business sales.
• Perform general engagement administrative tasks (conflict checks, engagement letters, budgets, fee notes).
• Assist with trading and wind-down of operations.
• Interact with appointees, directors, creditors and employees.
• Prepare correspondence for third parties including directors and creditors.
• Investigate the conduct of directors and understand insolvency reasons.
• Ensure all statutory and Interpath best practice requirements are adhered to.
• Participate in developing and growing the practice: events, networking and company research.
• Undertake personal development by working with senior team members.
