Job summary

Mirus Aircraft Seating invites applications for a Graduate Mechanical Project Engineer to join the Programme team in the UK. You will gain hands‑on experience coordinating projects from concept through delivery, working with experienced engineers and key customers in the aerospace sector.

You will support engineering and programme activities, collaborate across functions, and develop your project management and technical skills in a fast‑paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Interest in project or programme management within engineering/manufacturing.
• Understanding of how engineered products are designed, developed, manufactured and delivered.
• Willingness to learn aerospace certification, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of aircraft seating programmes from design through to manufacture and delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Programmes, Operations and Supply Chain teams.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and tracking to meet milestones.
• Help manage technical requirements, design changes, risks and actions.
• Contribute to solving technical and project-related challenges through structured problem solving.
• Support programme reviews with clear progress updates and actions.
• Understand cost, quality, weight and lead‑time drivers.
• Ensure compliance with customer, aerospace and regulatory requirements.
• Gain hands-on experience across concept to certified hardware lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
