Job summary

Grey Gable surgery in Inkberrow is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to oversee administrative operations, manage staff rotas and budgets, and ensure high-quality patient service at reception and across the practice.

You will work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support service delivery, handle operational issues, and drive practice development while maintaining patient confidentiality and strong external relationships with NHS bodies.

Qualifications

• Strong practice management or healthcare administration skills, coordinating operations, staff and resources within a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability in people management including staff supervision, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Financial and resource management, budgeting, reporting, and cost control principles.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills to prioritize, manage multiple workflows, and maintain attention to detail.
• Clear and professional communication with patients, staff and external stakeholders.
• Comfort with IT systems and digital tools used in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of NHS structures, primary care processes and regulatory requirements; GP/healthcare experience is beneficial.
• Relevant management/ healthcare administration qualification or equivalent experience.
