Job summary

The Hadleigh Practice is seeking a GP Partner to replace a retiring partner at its training practice, which runs two sites in Corfe Mullen and Broadstone. The post combines patient-centred general medical care with clinical leadership, strategy and shared management of the practice.

It is a partnership role for 4 to 6 sessions, with the post-holder sharing responsibility for finance and operations under the partnership agreement.

Qualifications

• MRCGP or equivalent credential.
• GMC registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based clinical care to registered patients, including diagnosis, treatment, prescribing and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Carry out clinical administration: referrals, results, correspondence, coding and documentation.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement.
• Contribute to practice strategy, workforce planning and business decisions.
• Share responsibility for finance and operational management under the partnership.
• Support recruitment, supervision and wellbeing of staff.
• Ensure compliance with NHS contracts, CQC, GMC guidance and legislation.
• Collaborate with Primary Care Network and local services.
• Attend meetings and support communication between partners and staff.
