Job summary

Royal College of General Practitioners is seeking a GP Partner for a rural dispensing training practice near Bridgwater, Somerset. The role offers 4–8 sessions weekly, with flexible working, and a strong focus on continuity of care within a supportive team.

You will engage in comprehensive clinical work across acute, chronic, and complex presentations, participate in triage, and help lead service development while aiming for equity partnership after a 12-month assessment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and a licence to practise.
• MRCGP or an equivalent credential.
• Experience working in General Practice.

An established and thriving rural dispensing training practice near Bridgwater is looking for a GP Partner to join its friendly, experienced team.

Serving approximately 11,000 patients across two sites, the practice combines traditional continuity of care with modern systems designed to support safe, efficient and sustainable general practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who values continuity, teamwork and high-quality patient care, while also wanting to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the practice.

About you

You’ll be a fully qualified GP with GMC registration and a licence to practise, MRCGP or equivalent, and experience working in General Practice.
