Job summary

EJ Connect is recruiting a Medical Receptionist for a GP practice in Nottingham. You will greet visitors, answer calls, register new patients and explain booking options, ensuring confidentiality in a busy clinic environment.

The role is 33 hours per week with a flexible schedule and an immediate start option. Temporary to permanent arrangement, salary is stated as 13ph. Experience with SystmOne is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced GP reception or similar environment.
• Knowledge of SystmOne software.
• Excellent, welcoming interpersonal communication.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure and stay organized.
• Strong administrative and IT keyboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls, transfer calls or handle requests appropriately.
• Register new patients promptly and explain booking options.
• Identify patient needs through appropriate questioning.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Carry out general office duties and keep the workspace tidy.
