Our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) within IGH is a rapidly growing area, focusing on internal audit, controls, governance, and risk management for public sector clients. We aim to deliver value through modern assessment techniques and collaborate closely with other consulting teams to provide comprehensive advice and assurance.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop annual internal audit plans.
  2. Provide internal audit services on outsourced and co-sourced bases.
  3. Manage and deliver audit projects, including planning, review, and reporting.
  4. Offer advisory services in risk management and governance.
  5. Conduct risk workshops and control reviews.
  6. Deliver training on controls and risk management.
  7. Manage internal control questionnaires and compliance audits.
  8. Collaborate with other advisory teams.
  9. Maintain client relationships and oversee financial performance.
  10. Stay updated on legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  11. Manage client engagement procedures.
  12. Develop audit strategies aligned with standards.
  13. Involve specialists when necessary.
  14. Review audit evidence and ensure compliance with standards.
  15. Communicate findings and draft reports with clients.
  16. Report to senior management and produce audit committee papers.
  17. Manage budgets and resources for engagements.
  18. Support team development and provide coaching.
  19. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposals.
Requirements:
  • Experience in assurance, controls, or compliance roles, including audits.
  • Project management experience across the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to identify operational and control issues.
  • Leadership experience, managing teams and projects.
  • Internal audit experience is essential.
  • Public Sector client experience is preferred.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Qualified (IIA, CCAB, ICAEW, CIPFA or equivalent).

Locations:
