Twynham Learning Core Services invites applications for a governance administrator to support governance across three local primary schools. The role offers flexible part-time hours with meetings and preparation conducted both remotely and on-site in Dorset.
You will work closely with Heads and governors, handling minutes, documentation and committee administration, with training provided and the option to pursue Level 3 governance clerking. A diverse, supportive team awaits.
9 hours per week – no fixed work pattern.
Flexibility is required, as the postholder must attend scheduled meetings (which are usually during normal office hours, but may occasionally be held in the evening). The remainder of the working hours are spent on meeting preparation and follow-up work, which can be undertaken at a time and location to suit the postholder.
School term times plus two weeks in the school holidays

Base location is Twynham Learning Core Services office, co-located with The Grange School, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 3AU.
Attendance at meetings at schools in our local area will be required.
Outside of the meetings themselves, most duties can be performed remotely.
Governance Manager
We have a rare opportunity for an organised and professional individual to join our Core Services (“trust HQ”) team and play a key role in supporting governance across three of our local primary schools.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in our local community by supporting school leaders and governors to achieve the best possible outcomes for our pupils. You will have the opportunity to develop specialist school governance knowledge and gain valuable insight into school leadership and strategic decision-making. Full training is provided and, if you are interested, we also offer the option of undertaking a fully funded Level 3 governance clerking qualification. You will be working in close partnership with our Headteachers and governors (known at Twynham Learning as “School Ambassadors”), and you’ll be part of our friendly and welcoming Core Services team.
