Job summary

Clear Group is seeking a Compliance Manager – Governance & Operations to shape and strengthen the governance framework that supports our regulated businesses. The role requires someone who can bring structure to complexity and navigate regulatory change with confidence.

You will work closely with the Group Compliance Director and senior stakeholders to coordinate governance activities, support regulatory engagement and ensure compliance remains embedded in how we make decisions and manage risk.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, navigating regulatory change and helping organisations operate with confidence in an evolving regulatory environment.

Working closely with the Group Compliance Director and senior stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in coordinating governance activities, supporting regulatory engagement and ensuring compliance remains embedded in how we make decisions and manage risk.

One day you might be supporting an FCA engagement, coordinating SMCR governance requirements or helping the business prepare for regulatory change. The next, contributing to operational resilience initiatives, supporting an acquisition or helping shape the future direction of our compliance framework.

You'll work across multiple business areas, influencing key stakeholders and providing the insight, challenge and coordination needed to support effective governance and positive customer outcomes.

We're looking for someone with strong governance and compliance experience within insurance, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to turn regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
