Job summary

Tapestry Learning Partnership in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Director of Governance to lead governance, compliance and board effectiveness across the MAT. Reporting to the Chair of Trustees and CEO, you will work with Trustees and senior leaders, providing expert advice and driving statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant MAT governance experience.
• Expert knowledge of governance and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Accredited Clerk status and Level 4 Certificate in Academy Governance qualification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, compliance and board effectiveness across the Trust.
• Provide expert advice to Trustees and senior leaders.
• Ensure statutory compliance and regulatory obligations are met.
• Drive continuous improvement in governance practices.
