Job summary

Willcox Matthews is assisting a leading manufacturing company in Banbury to recruit a Goods Inwards Administrator. The role involves checking incoming deliveries, booking goods into the system, and collaborating with Finance and Logistics to resolve queries.

The successful candidate will have experience in goods in, logistics or warehouse administration, with SAP or ERP/MES experience, strong attention to detail and good numeracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in Goods In, Logistics, Warehouse Administration or similar.
• SAP or other ERP/MES experience.
• Good computer and administration skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Organised and methodical.
• Able to work using your own initiative.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming deliveries for quantity and quality
• Accurately book goods into the system
• Investigate delivery and purchase order discrepancies
• Request and track additional purchase order coverage
• Process and maintain delivery documentation
• Review weekly open order reports
• Process COGI SAP transactions
• Liaise with purchase order recipients regarding deliveries
• Ensure goods are safely and correctly stored
• Maintain an organised goods-in area
• Work with Finance, Logistics and other departments
• Support improvements in quality, productivity and efficiency
• Follow Health & Safety and environmental procedures
