Galaxy Personnel is recruiting for a Goods in operator and warehouse assistant in Attleborough, Norfolk. Join a small warehouse team to support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will book in stock, check components against orders, perform quality checks, store items safely, pick and prepare ranges, and keep accurate stock movement records. Previous warehouse experience and good attention to detail are essential.

Role - Goods in operator and warehouse assistant

Location -Attleborough, Norfolk

Working hours - Monday to Friday - Full time hours

Capacity of role - Permanent

Salary - Up to £30,000 per annum

Our client is currently recruiting for an addition to join their warehouse team, this role is imperative to the day to day operation of the business. Applicants will need to be meticulous and have good attention to detail skills.

Previous experience of working within a fast paced environment is essential for a successful application.

Main duties include -

• Booking in stock, on in house system - training will be provided
• Checking components against purchase orders, requirements and delivery consignment
• Quality checking products to ensure they are fit for purpose and any defected stock to be reported to management
• To store components safely and within the correct storage locations.
• Picking and preparing product range
• Maintaining accurate records of batch codes, returns and stock movements.

Candidate Attributes -

• Previous experience working in a fast paced warehouse based role
• Sound familiarity with components
• Good attention to detail skills and possessing good communication skills
• Proficiency with ERP/inventory systems, stock control software, and basic office applications
• A practical, \"can-do\" attitude with the willingness to step up and support other departments in a small business setting.
