Job summary

Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant for a role in Snetterton. The position covers goods in, stock control, despatch and general warehouse duties, with support to technical and purchasing teams.

You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, in a busy warehouse environment, aiming to maintain high stock accuracy and efficient operations while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• A good understanding of warehouse health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Receiving goods and checking product descriptions, quantities and quality.
• Storing goods safely and accurately, ensuring stock is correctly identified and located.
• Creating pick tickets and despatch notes.
• Preparing stock for despatch by external logistics suppliers.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Assisting the technical team with basic engineering duties.
• Supporting the buying team with basic purchasing tasks.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the warehouse and working area.
• Following company procedures and warehouse processes.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Completing any other reasonable duties as required by the Warehouse or Supply Chain Management team.
