Job summary

Willis Global in West Sussex seeks a Goods Inward Operative for their Albourne depot. You will organise goods inward, distribute stock to branches, and maintain efficient stock and showroom areas. A positive, practical approach and good numeracy are essential, with a full UK driving licence; forklift licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Transfer of stock into the stores and showroom
• Unpacking branch 'bins' and processing supplier parcels
• Loading and unloading of internal lorry

Job description

Our client, a long-established family firm with a network of branches in the South and East of England, that supply machinery and services to the agricultural, construction and professional ground care machinery markets are looking for a Goods Inward Operative to join their team in Albourne, West Sussex.

Main Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Parts & Retail Manager, your role will be to assist with the organising and control of the goods inward area in Albourne, but also successfully distribute goods to other branches in an efficient and timely manner. This area must be organised and effectively arranged for quick and easy access to the Parts/Retail team.

• Working Hours: 39 hours per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch) Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday.
