Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a proactive Golf Operations Assistant to manage the daily operations of our Golf Pro Shop. You will create attractive merchandising displays, maximise sales, and provide excellent customer service in line with company standards.

You will keep the shop clean, well-stocked and welcoming, working with the Golf Operations Manager to meet sales targets and drive the business toward its annual retail budget.

Qualifications

• Golf shop experience in a club environment is desirable.
• GCSE qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the golf shop well-stocked, clean and welcoming.
• Meet sales targets and drive the shop toward the annual retail budget.
• Process bookings and charges for golf buggy usage.
• Promote daily sales and special offers; assist with product selection.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and monitor merchandise receipt.
• Coordinate with the Course Marshall to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide feedback to senior management.
