Qualifications

• Good understanding of golf and experience in a golf club or similar environment.
• Confident dealing with people.
• Organised, enthusiastic and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Experience of management is an advantage but not essential.
• Experience of competitions, golf management systems, retail or Golf Genius is useful but not required, training provided.

• Run the day-to-day Golf Operations team and maintain high standards of service.
• Welcome and look after members, visitors, societies and guests.
• Manage the golfing diary, tee sheet, and member and visitor golf.
• Organise competitions, matches, opens, societies and golf days.
• Work with Club Captains, committees and the greenkeeping team.
• Manage the golf shop, including stock, merchandising and retail performance.
• Train, support and motivate the Golf Operations team.
• Continually improve the golfer experience.

The Role

The role suits either an experienced manager or someone ready to take their first step into management. You will join a club that has invested more than £2m in its course and clubhouse, working with an experienced management team and a supportive Board, with opportunities to learn, develop and take on responsibility.

• Run the day-to-day Golf Operations team and maintain high standards of service
• Welcome and look after members, visitors, societies and guests
• Manage the golfing diary, tee sheet, and member and visitor golf
• Organise competitions, matches, opens, societies and golf days
• Work with Club Captains, committees and the greenkeeping team
• Manage the golf shop, including stock, merchandising and retail performance
