Job summary

Allelys is seeking a highly skilled SPMT operator to safely operate and support the deployment of Goldhofer SPMTs across projects in the UK. You will work on-site, perform maintenance and preparation of the SPMT fleet, and assist the workshop as required.

The role requires proven heavy-lift operations experience, CPCS/CSCS/NPORS qualifications, a full UK driving licence and RAMS compliance. Rigorous safety standards and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Goldhofer SPMTs is essential.
• Hold manufacturer-specific training from Goldhofer.
• Experience in heavy-lift / project cargo operations.
• Knowledge of RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Full UK driving licence and relevant operator cards.

Responsibilities

• Operate Goldhofer SPMTs and modular trailers on project sites with precision.
• Assist maintenance, preparation and upkeep of the SPMT fleet at the Studley yard.
• Carry out pre-use and post-use inspections and report defects.
• Set up and configure power packs, suspension and steering systems.
• Work in accordance with RAMS, load distribution criteria and lift plans.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental requirements on site.
