Job summary

Sarens is seeking a SPMT Operator to join our team in the UK, working with the largest machines on major projects. You will be responsible for safe transport of loads, loading/unloading and assembling SPMTs, and ensuring all materials are ready for operation.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK, with on-site duties across the country and opportunities for training and career progression within Sarens Training Centre and external providers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates safety-minded approach to heavy lifting and site operations.

• Interest in large machinery and construction technology.
• Willingness to work across the UK on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and assemble SPMTs and prepare materials for operations.
• Participate in on-site assembly/disassembly and assist with prep work.
• Contribute to safe transportation operations and monitor progress.
• Report issues and collaborate to resolve on-site problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections as required.
