Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a mid-level Golang engineer to help connect Grocery Partners with the Just Eat Takeaway platform. You will work primarily in Go on event-driven microservices, with exposure to Kafka, AWS services, and Kubernetes.

The role offers growth toward senior levels in a fast-paced, global tech environment. You’ll collaborate with product and delivery teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and participate in AI-assisted development practices to move faster while

Qualifications

• Several years of backend engineering with production Go experience (1+ year in Go or 2+ years in another language).
• Strong Go fundamentals: concurrency, error handling and interfaces.
• Microservice and event-driven design experience.
• Built and run at least one production service end to end, including monitoring.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Curiosity and ownership; strong communication.
• Pair programming experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes or another container platform would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build new features in Go for the core platform.
