Qualifications

• Several years of backend engineering experience, including production Go (1+ year) or 2+ years in another modern backend language with Go knowledge.
• Go fundamentals: concurrency, error handling and interfaces.
• Microservice and event-driven design experience.
• Built and run at least one production service end to end, including monitoring and debugging.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Curiosity and ownership; strong communication skills.
• AI-assisted development: comfortable using AI tools and able to justify code choices.
• Pair programming experience; Kubernetes or container platform experience is a plus.

• Support product and delivery teams to ship reliable services.
