Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Workday Finance Architect to lead end-to-end design across large, multi-country Workday Financials implementations. Based in Europe/UK, you will act as the design authority, shaping architecture and governance while guiding diverse delivery teams.

You will partner with clients to translate complex requirements into scalable financial processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to pre-sales activity.

Qualifications

• Several full-cycle Workday Financials implementations, owning solution design end-to-end.
• Strong finance transformation track record.
• Deep expertise across Workday Financials (RTR, P2P, CTC), including design and reporting.
• Design-authority / architecture background.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall Workday Financials solution architecture across one or more large-scale, multi-country engagements.
• Set design standards for the programme and act as escalation and design-authority for consultants and clients.
• Act as the primary design authority for financials-related functionality within Workday.
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate into robust, scalable Workday Financials solutions.
• Define and govern the solution design for Workday Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting).
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls across the design.
• Establish design standards and leading practices for the programme and delivery teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and system optimisation.
• Direct the implementation and enhancement of Workday Financials solutions for clients.
• Manage and guide multi-disciplinary teams of Workday Financials, Integration and Data consultants.
• Involvement in pre-sales activities to shape offerings for clients.
