Job summary

Yolk Recruitment are supporting a growing engineering business with the recruitment of an Import & Export Coordinator to join their Barry team in South Wales.

You will coordinate international shipments by sea and air, prepare customs documentation, and maintain visibility of equipment moving between vessels and overseas locations. The role begins with a 38‑hour week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £33,000 per annum and a friendly, close‑knit team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Import/Export Coordination or international logistics.
• Understanding of customs documentation and import/export procedures.
• Experience coordinating sea/air freight and tracking shipments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments of tools and equipment to vessels worldwide.
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation with correct codes and values.
• Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage reception, packing, and dispatch of equipment and materials.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate location records.
• Support improvements to shipping processes and documentation control.
