Escape Recruitment is partnering with a global engineering organisation to recruit a Technical Sales Manager to join its expanding commercial team in Scotland. The role involves owning the full sales lifecycle, identifying opportunities, developing tailored engineering solutions and securing orders on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Experienced in technical, consultative B2B sales.
• Background selling engineered products or systems.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into commercial solutions.
• Willing to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Managing technical sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award.
• Preparing commercially and technically robust quotations and proposals.
• Building long-term relationships with customers, OEMs, EPCs, distributors and international sales teams.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
• Managing long sales cycles and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline using CRM.
• Working closely with engineering, project management, purchasing and commercial teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Negotiating commercial agreements for high-value engineered products and systems.
• Representing the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and international industry events.
• Gathering market intelligence to identify new commercial opportunities and support future product development.
• Supporting regional sales teams with technical and commercial expertise.
