Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is seeking a Senior Technical Manager in Hertfordshire to lead the global technical strategy and drive products to market.

You will oversee UK and US teams, collaborate with overseas manufacturing facilities, own major technical and quality issues, and champion continuous improvement and cost reduction. This high-visibility role reports to senior leadership and offers board-level exposure. Hybrid working (2 days in the office) is provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and technical standards in manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel overseas to manufacturing facilities.
• Leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience with NPD and NPi projects.
• Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global technical strategy for technically taking products to market.
• Manage and develop a team of Technical Managers both in the UK and US.
• Work closely with overseas manufacturing facilities in the US and Europe.
• Ownership of major technical, quality & food safety issues, RCA and implement corrective actions.
• Support the selection and onboarding of new manufacturing partners.
• Improve efficiency, reduce costs, drive continuous improvement and performance.
• Present technical information to senior leaders within the business.
