Job summary

Carbolite Gero Ltd. in Hope, Derbyshire, UK, is seeking a Technical Export Sales Manager. This role blends technical product understanding with strategic sales to engage international clients.

You will travel internationally (about 1 week per month), manage distributor networks, and lead seminars and exhibitions to boost brand visibility. A science/engineering degree and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
• Commercially astute with excellent analytical abilities.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally with technical products.
• Demonstrated success in managing and motivating distributor networks.
• Highly motivated, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong presentation and IT skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally (1 week per month).
• Laboratory equipment/scientific environment experience (desirable)
• Full Driving License (essential)
• Flexibility with regards to travelling abroad
• Negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and expand the reach of our products.
• Provide technical support to international market units with end customer business.
• Carry out tests and feasibility studies in the demo centre.
• Prepare quotations and calculations.
• Be the main contact for worldwide sales partners.
• Manage export territories to support sales targets and budgets.
