Job summary

Kraft Recruitment’s client is seeking a Global Technical Engineer to lead continuous improvements in manufacturing capabilities, capacity and product quality with occasional Asia travel to implement new processes across sites.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, strong experience in heavy castings and machining, CAD skills, and a track record in product development and manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Educated to a relevant Engineering qualification.
• Proven engineering experience in product development and manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of heavy castings and machining processes.
• Experience with fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing process capability and capacity.
• Support product quality and ensure inspection tests are recorded before dispatch.
• Develop and adopt ISO 9001 processes in China-based operations.
• Assist factories to develop manufacturing processes and train technicians.
• Prepare product and process reports and communicate trends.
