Job summary

Candidate Source is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Design, Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams in a high-compliance manufacturing environment. You will drive development of new parts, process improvements, and the engineering strategy to support production, quality and sales.

The role requires hands-on leadership, technical excellence, and strong teamwork to deliver precision processes, tooling design and manufacturing improvements across aerospace, automotive and power

Job description

A global specialist in the design and manufacture of high-temperature metal seals for aerospace, automotive and power generation sectors are seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team to drive the next phase of development and growth.

As Engineering Manager, you will lead the Design, Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams, creating and delivering new parts and processes, identifying and implementing process improvements and developing the engineering strategy in a high-compliance production environment. Responsible for leading and managing the Engineering function, you will need to be hands-on, technical, detail oriented and a great team-worker.

Role:

• Lead product design engineering in customer engagement and development of new parts
• Lead production engineering team in design, manufacture and repair of roll/form tooling
• Lead manufacturing engineering team in creation and improvement of precision processes
• Drive engineering strategy & develop staff, support production, quality and sales functions

To be successful in this role you will have proven skills and experience in the following:

• Proven leadership and management of engineering teams
• Experience of mixed-mode, high compliance production environments
• Hold a relevant degree or equivalent level

• Precision metal forming/fabrication
• Process and productivity improvement
• New product introduction, process feasibility
