Job summary

Gooch & Housego Torquay is seeking a Customer Service Lead to own orders from receipt to fulfilment in a fast-paced, technology-driven manufacturing environment. You’ll be the voice of the customer, coordinating with Sales, Operations, Planning and Product Management to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service, customer operations or order management role.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or technical environment.
• Experience handling customer complaints, escalations and complex service-related issues.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete order processing lifecycle, including order entry and updates.
• Own customer communications relating to order acceptance, delivery schedules and after-sales support.
• Handle enquiries, complaints and complex service issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Advocate for the customer within the business and ensure requirements are met.
• Build relationships with Sales, Product Line Managers, Planning and Manufacturing.
