Job summary

Leighton Park Summer School in Reading is seeking a Student Experience Leader to help plan, deliver and supervise activities for our residential vacation course team. You will support group leaders in managing students on and off-site, including house duties, welfare and safety.

You will lead day trips to major cities and ensure on-site activities are engaging, well-coordinated and safely conducted with timely paperwork and team communication.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality with good English.
• Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative.
• Flexible, cooperative and responsible attitude.
• Experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
• First aid qualification is desirable (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and supervise engaging activities for international students on and off-site.
• Communicate regularly with activity staff and Management Team.
• Lead full-day off-site excursions to places such as London, Bath and Oxford.
• Promote student welfare and safety and ensure proper supervision at all times.
• Complete paperwork such as registers and activity plans; assist with house duties.
• Supervise students in the evenings, mealtimes, and during breaks as directed.
• Support the Management Team with daily house duties and on-call overnight.
• Report house repairs and uphold Experio Summer’s safeguarding policies.
