Job summary

Experio Summer Ltd is recruiting an Assistant Centre and Student Experience Manager to support the Centre Manager and Student Experience Manager in delivering a high-quality summer school programme in Reading, UK.

The role involves coordinating centre operations, liaising with school staff, organizing activities and excursions, ensuring safety and welfare, and promoting inclusive participation. The position requires a DBS check and willingness to work six days per week with one day off.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
• Excellent spoken English language skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
• Flexible, cooperative, and responsible attitude.
• Experience with young people at a summer/residential program desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of cities such as London and Cambridge desirable but not essential.
• Sports, art, music or drama skills are valuable.
• Ability to promote safety, welfare and equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager and Student Experience Manager in centre operations.
• Coordinate daily communications with school departments for smooth delivery of functions.
• Undertake accommodation audits as required.
• Assist in organising on-site activities and excursions.
• Ensure the programme is inclusive, safe and suitable for all students.
• Promote the activity programme to maximise student participation.
• Liaise with staff to ensure facilities are booked and ready.
• Guide Student Experience Teams in planning and delivering activities.
• Plan excursions, itineraries and bookings with Group Leaders.
• Be an active presence at Group Leader meetings and with students.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain student discipline and welfare.
• Support safeguarding with appropriate DBS checks and processes.
