Job summary

Spider is recruiting an experienced Accounts Specialist to join the team in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will record and reconcile daily financial transactions, manage credit control, intercompany activity and assist with month-end close, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and HQ guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience with SAP Business One and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and payroll journals.
• Manage customer accounts, credit control and collections.
• Process supplier invoices and vendor payments.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations and group reporting.
• Produce management reports and KPIs.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with tax reporting and statutory compliance.
