Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager Engineering for Electrical Systems to lead a global engineering organization spanning the US and UK. You will guide electronic architecture, schematics, wiring harnesses, and design-controlled components for BCP machines.

You will collaborate with Cat Technology teams and Product Engineering to execute enterprise technology plans, shaping the future of Caterpillar’s electrical systems capabilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team with Managers in multiple locations (Sanford NC, Clayton NC, Desford UK, Thiruvallur, India).
• Oversee NPIs, CPI projects, product maintenance, and obsolescence management for electrical systems.
• Own the Cat Technology relationship for electrical systems and components.
• Collaborate with technology groups to translate plans into executable architecture.
• Engage with Product Directors and Engineering Managers on planning, scope, and budget.
• Develop engineering expertise to support Caterpillar’s Advanced Technology needs.
• Manage on-site supplier relationships for harness co-development in US/UK.
