Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager Engineering for Electrical Systems to lead a global team across Clayton, Sanford, and Desford. This role focuses on architecture, schematics, wiring harnesses, and electronic components for BCP machines and attachments.

You will partner with Product Directors, Cat Technology teams, and Procurement to execute the Enterprise strategy for Advanced Technology in Electrical Systems, while driving program planning, budgets, and resource alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field).
• Experience leading global engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical architecture and electronics development.
• Ability to plan, budget, and manage resources across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global engineering team for Electrical Systems.
• Drive NPIs, CPI projects, and production support for BCP Electrical Systems.
• Own relationships with Cat Technology and suppliers for electrical components.
• Collaborate with Product Directors and Engineering Managers to translate tech plans into executable architectures.
• Develop and grow electrical engineering capabilities to support long-term Customer needs.
