Job summary

Cyncly is seeking a Group Revenue Controller to lead the end-to-end revenue governance across the group, including SaaS, license and services. You’ll drive controls, oversee the monthly close and ensure robust revenue recognition in multi-system environments.

You will mentor a three-person team, partner with FP&A, BU leaders and GL teams, and act as the IFRS 15 subject-matter expert while driving BI dashboards and responsible AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

• IFRS 15 expertise required.
• Experience in managing end-to-end revenue processes across multiple systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with data interrogation skills.
• Excellent communicator with ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the group sales-to-revenue control framework across SaaS, license and services revenue.
• Assess control design and operation; identify gaps and remediation actions with license, contracting, billing, systems and accounting teams.
• Provide review and challenge over the monthly revenue close for accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead delivery of monthly revenue analysis, including actual vs forecast and product-level movements, with BU leaders and FP&A.
• Oversee the integrity of accrued revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable, with reconciliations and ageing analyses.
• Act as the Group's IFRS 15 technical lead for significant contracts and new offerings.
• Own the finance response for external audit matters related to revenue.
• Sponsor automation and continuous improvement across revenue accounting, including BI dashboards and AI-enabled insights.
• Understand data flows across Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia, Cleverbridge and bespoke CRM platforms.
• Lead, coach and develop the revenue accounting team with clear accountabilities and escalation paths.
