Job summary

Bottomline is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Revenue Accounting team. You will help ensure revenue transactions are recorded accurately, reconciled effectively, and reported in line with Bottomline’s policies, supporting month-end and quarter-end close.

You will partner with Billing, Collections, Sales Operations and FP&A to ensure precise revenue reporting, ownership of journal entries, and robust account reconciliations, while driving process improvements across the revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
• CPA or similar qualification preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel and business systems
• ASC606 revenue recognition knowledge required or preferred
• Experience with SaaS/technology revenue beneficial

Responsibilities

• Apply core revenue accounting principles per company policy
• Own revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Collaborate with Billing, Collections, Sales Operations and FP&A for accurate reporting
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes and audit requests
• Identify process improvements to enhance close efficiency and controls
