Job summary

Dyson is seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer for the Global Retail Design & Experience team in Malmesbury. The role sits at the intersection of design, engineering and manufacturing to translate innovative concepts into technically robust and scalable retail solutions.

You will produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and supplier briefs, while reviewing outputs to maintain design intent, cost control and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to translate concepts into fully resolved technical designs.
• Experience delivering technical drawings, specs and supplier briefs.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key technical contributor across Global Retail Design & Experience.
• Provide technical expertise for retail fixtures, environments and touchpoints.
• Develop concepts into manufacture-ready designs and documentation.
• Review supplier outputs to ensure design intent and cost alignment.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and external partners.
