Job summary
Dyson is seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer to join the Global Retail Design & Experience team. This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering and manufacturing, translating innovative retail concepts into technically robust, scalable solutions across Dyson's global retail estate.
You will produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and supplier briefs, review outputs for design intent, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and external partners to balance
Qualifications
- Experience in technical design for retail environments, fixtures or physical product displays.
- Proven track record of taking concepts through to manufactured solutions.
- Experience working closely with suppliers, manufacturers and production teams.
- Demonstrated ability to balance design ambition with technical and commercial realities.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical design for retail fixtures and environments.
- Create and review technical drawings, specifications and supplier briefs.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and external partners.
- Review supplier proposals and ensure design intent and cost targets.
- Translate concepts into scalable, globally deployable solutions.
